What is Corporate Identity:

Corporate Identity development is really a fancy name for Logo development and designing your companies ‘brand’ as a whole. Your brand is what gets taken
through to all of your companies marketing, promotional and public items. Such as your business cards, letterheads, caps, t-shirts… whatever. Here at Living Graphix, we do our absolute best to produce eye catching, practical and sustainable logo designs.

Your companies image is a living entity and should change or improve over time. Even if only very slightly. Your ‘logo’ is one of the most important aspects of your brand. A great deal of thought goes into producing not only a great logo, but it also needs to be practical, simple, stand out and mean something. It needs to say everything about your company in one glance. This is not always easy to achieve and can be a bit of a challenge. Especially when dealing with start ups. Your customers and the public at large, still need to be educated as far as who and what you are. Companies like SAB or Coca Cola for instance have spent years perfecting and adjusting their logo’s. Ever so slighlty, you don’t even notice it straight off. But when you look at it over the course of years. You can see a significant change.

The psychology:

Believe it or not, there is a large amount of psychology that goes in to creating a companies brand. Every colour has a meaning, just like every letter and characture (if used) has symbology behind it. Of course we are not inclined to argue with our clients about what they are looking for. A great deal of the time, companies that aproach us have already got a good idea of what they want their logo to look like. We make that idea a reality for them. Sometimes, however we do advise about the meanings behind certain aspects of their idea. Market research is also a great way to feedback from people about your logo and how it appeals or repulses them.

Options:

We do get carried away with logo designs almost everytime. Once we get started on a design we engage and commit to that design, especially when it comes to logos. So, we inevatably produce 2, 3 or 4 different options for you to look at. Once we have a final option, we can then proceed to clean and perfect it. Nothing is ever set in stone with us here at Living graphix and we definately aim to please. if at any time you do not like what we have done. We simply scrap it and start again.
